OUR STORY
Calabrese Combat Academy is one of Oahu's newest martial arts academies open now in Aiea. Led by black belt instructor, Jason Calabrese, our academy provides high quality instruction in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and self defense. Coach Jason leads with a background of over 10 years of dedicated training and in BJJ and extensive experience in defensive tactics instruction for law enforcement agencies. With instruction that supports strong skill development in our students, our academy is committed to fostering discipline, confidence, and resilience.
Beginning from humble roots in our family garage where we first started to grow a community of dedicated Jiu-Jitsu practitioners, our academy has now expanded and we are excited to be open in our new site located within Powerhouse Gym Aiea. Calabrese Combat Academy is committed to cultivating a gym environment that is rigorous and supportive where everyone can thrive learning the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We hope to see you on the mats soon!

Located conveniently within Powerhouse Gym in Aiea, our academy provides a spacious and well-equipped training space. All are welcome, regardless of Powerhouse Gym membership.
